Heartburn During Pregnancy

For women especially, the chances of getting heartburn are
higher if you’re pregnant. Thankfully for you, there is a better
than average chance that your heartburn will stop as soon as
your baby is born.

A lot of pregnant women, who suffer from heartburn, suffer
most towards the latter stages of their pregnancy, and not in
the beginning. This tends to be because your baby isn’t yet
pushing up against you, placing pressure on your stomach.

Towards the latter stages, however, when your baby is large
enough to start putting enough pressure on you, this will slow
down the processes of your body, starting with your digestive
system, and moving to your waste removal system.
This, in turn will cause the digestive acids in your stomach to
remain for a longer period of time. This, combined with the fact
that the LES tends to relax to accommodate your changing
body, increases the chance of the flow-back of acids from your
stomach into the esophagus, resulting in heartburn.

Naturally, when you’re pregnant your thoughts are mainly for
your baby, and not as much for yourself. So whereas earlier
you might have thought nothing of reaching for the nearest
handy pill to alleviate your ailments, there’s a good chance that
you’re now thinking more cautiously, and would hesitate to take
anything that might harm your baby.

You’re also probably more open to the idea of natural remedies
to help cure you.  But here, you’ve got to be wary, as, just like
some medications aren’t good for your baby, so too will some
natural remedies contain ingredients that can be potentially
harmful to you or your baby.

Therefore, if you are considering trying any of the alternative
medicines that I have listed, I can’t stress enough that you
should check with your doctor first, before taking them.

Where known, I’ve marked specific items as being unsuitable if
you’re pregnant, although, this doesn’t mean that if any item is
unmarked, that the remedy is safe for you to try.

So be safe, and always consult your doctor first to ensure what
is best for both you and your baby.

Hello, Natural Heartburn Cure,

Your info is very good.I am breastfeeding my
newborn so the doctor told me there is nothing to do.
However, while reading your report, I popped a piece
of gum in my mouth and while chewing it actually felt
better and I did produce lots of saliva. Never even
thought about before how much saliva can be
produced from chewing gum and how helpful it can be
for acid reflux.  Now I want to take the other
remedies you prescribed.

Very happy and surprised!

Thank you much,

Dear Natural Heartburn Cure,

After the birth of my last child, I developed
Heartburn.  My doctor put me on Prilosec and then on
Nexium.  After two years of taking these prescriptions
I noticed that my condition was getting worse and I
was suffering from a multitude of side effects.  I went
back to my doctor for his help.  He didn’t have a clue
how to help me, at that point.  I searched the web and
bought several self-help eBooks on heartburn.  None
of these were very helpful.  Then I found your eBook,
I read it and followed your advice.  I was able to cure
myself of this terrible affliction.  I think that all pre-
med students and doctors should be required to study
your eBook.   Perhaps then they could help their
patients with Heartburn.

Dear Natural Heartburn
Cure,

"I want to let you know how
fantastic your eBook is!  I
have been doing what you
recommended….I’m
certainly never buying
expensive treatment for
Heartburn again that’s for
sure!”

I suffered from re-
occurring Heartburn for
years and kept having to
use counter drugs all the
time to keep it in check.
One day I stumbled across
your ebook and decided to
give it a shot thinking what
have I got to lose, same
price as my counter drugs
and there was a money
back guarantee which to be
honest I thought I might
end up using.

I wasn’t sure what to
expect maybe some weird
diet, or to have to buy some
cream or something that
cost more more…but there
was nothing hard AT ALL
about it (easy as pie) and
my heartburn  was gone.

It hasn’t come back….
couldn't believe it.  I would
have paid 10 times as much
to get rid of my heartburn
so fast and easily!"
